Paranoid anxiety

What choice do I take

The painful path

The road unknown

Layered in shadow and doubt

But at the end

A glimmer of hope

Of a better future

 

Or the other way

Rocky and bumpy

Never really right

But easy to travel

And in many ways known

But with a darkening sky

 

What do I do

I don’t know

But forge ahead I must
